The Medical Checkup for Children 1 year and 6 months old and the Medical Checkup for Children 3 years old are mandatory checkups determined by Japanese law. The content of these check-ups is: pediatric consultation, dentist consultation, and guidance on tooth brushing, health and nutrition guidance, among others. At the 2-year dental check-up, in addition to the consultation with the dentist, there is also guidance on tooth brushing and nutrition, among other topics.
