Baby and Child Medical Exams

The Medical Examination of the newborn after 30 days of birth takes place in the hospital.

In this examination, the newborn’s development and health will be checked, as well as the mother’s recovery status.

The Medical Examination of the 3-5 month old child and the Final Stage Medical Check-up of the breastfeeding baby take place at the local authority’s General Support Center for Families with Children, or at the Health Center, or at a medical institution.

This consultation is made to check the child’s development and to receive orientation about health and nutrition.

So be sure to go to the appointment when you receive the information from your local agency.

Also, remember to write down any questions you have about your child and yourself so that you can ask during the appointments.
