The moment of the childbirth!

The belly of the future mother has grown a lot, a certain difficulty in moving around, back pain, and suddenly the contractions start and the waters break. All of this can happen suddenly, indicating that the baby is about to be born.

But before this can happen, the pregnant woman must do a little planning weeks before the expected birth date.

Remember items that are necessary at the time of hospitalization, childbirth, and postpartum until hospital discharge.

  • Make a list of what you will need when you go to the hospital
  • See what the hospital offers that you don’t need to bring from home
  • Pack everything in one bag
  • Put the bag near the exit door or in an easily accessible place

Documents required for the hospitalization procedure for childbirth:

  • Mother’s and Child’s Health Handbook
  • Health insurance card
  • Personal stamp (inkan)
  • Medical institution card of the medical institution where the pregnant woman will be hospitalized, among others.

It is recommended for those who are not very familiar with the Japanese language, to also have a translation app or a friend who speaks Japanese.
