Want to leave Japan for a few days? Don’t forget to get your Reentry Visa.
Foreigners who wish to reside temporarily in Japan for a short or long period of time apply for an entry visa from the Japanese government through its consulates in various countries with whom Japan maintains diplomatic relations.
When the visa is granted, the visitor is entitled to enter Japan once, durin the expiration date of the visa issued, but if the visitor leaves the country, the status of residence and the period of stay in the country are revoked.
In other words, if you leave Japan, you have no right to return unless you get a new visa.
But for those who wish to return can do so with tranquility, the Japanese government grants a re-entry visa, which must be applied days before your departure.
There are two types of reentry:
Simple – gives you the right to leave and enter Japan only once
Multiple – gives you the right to leave and enter Japan several times until your visa expires
necessidade de momento, caso você tenha que sair do país e deseje retornar uma ou duas semanas após a saída, é necessário que você obtenha um visto de permissão de reentrada no Japão.
